Crocodile Fail

This has been in my mind for a while and I finally got around to doing it today:

It's a little too subtle though.  This is Zoya Codie from the Smoke and Mirrors collection, topped with China Glaze Matte Magic and then stamped with the crocodile image from the BM224 plate using CND Super Shiney topcoat.  You can see it a little better here:

But I was really hoping it would be more dramatic.  Oh well, can't win 'em all!

  1. Personally, I love how subtle the design is. More drama would take away from how intriguing your nails are. I hope you keep this on for a few extra days!

  2. I agree with Evelyn. I quite like the subtlety.

  3. I guess my motto is: the more garish, the better!

Actually, it kind of got obliterated by my cuticle oil. But I'm going to try it again with a different top coat and see if that works better.

  5. I quite like it--bling is great, but subtle has its place in the world, too.

  6. I've tried two different (non quick dry) topcoats now, and neither one gives me the shiny look I was going for. Maybe the problem is the matte topcoat? If anyone knows, it's you, Karen!
