    1. She is fast!! Sadly, my local post office is less than stellar: I had to sweat it out all weekend, because the online tracking said it had already been delivered on Saturday morning (it wasn't). You wouldn't believe how many times I went down and checked over the weekend, just in case it had gotten into my neighbor's box and they put it back in mine! I was SO happy to get these today!

    1. Oooh, good to know! Maybe we should go out for a cocktail once we both have an Elisalex! Too corny?

    1. I'm hoping to make the blazer very soon, but it will probably be fall before I get to the dress. But it will be something I can wear to the symphony, so I'm excited about that!

    1. I've been wanting both of these (plus the Charlotte skirt, which was out of stock) for so long, but the shipping from England was really steep. I was so excited when Melizza told me about this shop!

    1. Thank you! I'm excited to make them! There are so many lovely FOs out there for the dress, I just had to get it even though it's not the most practical item for me.

    1. Isn't it great to get such a pretty thing in the mail? And you better believe that candy didn't last two minutes, LOL!

  8. That's the same shop I got my Victoria Blazer from! I've ordered quite a few things from Sweet Little Chickadee and am so impressed with how quick everything comes (lladybird posted a discount code on her blog today too for the shop). I'm trying to do the Victoria Blazer sewalong and the Hawthorn sewalong at the same time so I'm not sure how it's going to go. I can't wait to see your makes from these!

    1. Oh bummer! Looks like I missed the sale! Although both my other "must-have" patterns are currently sold out, so it wouldn't have done me much good anyway!

I thought about doing both sew alongs, but then decided not to - it stresses me out and makes it less fun, I've discovered!

    2. I know what you mean. The Hawthorn is taking priority. I have surgery (just preventive stuff) scheduled at the end of the month so I'm trying to keep my brain occupied until then.

    3. Then you must get in LOTS of craft time between now and then - you're entitled!

  9. How lovely! Aren't sewing blogger buddies the best?!

  10. Wheeee! So glad you got them! I did too :) Waiting for my blazer to come in the mail. I want to whip that one up asap so I can get my Sewlution done for the year.

    1. Oh cool! I can totally see you in that blazer! But I still think you need to make Ollie one as part of your Sewlution :-)

    1. I did see it - honestly, I was a little underwhelmed. But that often happens, and then when I start to see FOs around the web, I change my story!

  12. LOVE Sweet Little Chickadee - just got a very similar package in the mail, but with a Beignet skirt instead of the Elisalex - can't wait to make that Victoria Blazer!!! I am thinking cropped first! :)

    1. I'm going cropped too :-) Hoping to start next week, if I can make the dress I want to make this weekend. Now I'm a little bummed because Sweet Little Chickadee is closed for the next month, and I just discovered her! Ah well, I do have more than enough patterns to keep me going for a while ;-)
