Over the last couple weeks, I've added two new pages up there under the header.
One is a list with links - in order - to all the posts and supplemental information from the Miette Knitalong last year. Believe it or not, over a year later, I'm still getting questions about this pattern! I thought it would be easier for everyone to access the information if I grouped it all together in a neat and tidy way. Sorry it took me so long!
I also created a "Craftsy Class List of Shame" in the hopes of encouraging myself to make better use of all those classes I enrolled in. I'll let you know if/when that works. It hasn't yet, LOL! I tend to be great at starting, but not as great at finishing!
craftsy class list of shame! hahahaha! i love it. hope you get around to watching them. :)
ReplyDeleteHehehe - me too! I have this irrational fear that the site will close down or the internet will explode before I can take full advantage of all the classes I've enrolled in, LOL!
DeleteAlways great to have references easily listed!
ReplyDeleteYes - I feel bad it took me so long to do it!
DeleteOh wow, that's so cool your miette knitalong is still helping people! :) and I should check out your list of shame. Maybe we can do one together- that's always a good motivator I reckon!
ReplyDeleteI did wonder if there would be any interest in making a "support group" or something - like a stash down but for Craftsy classes!
Delete[sticks fingers in ears, ignores all mention of unwatched Craftsy courses]
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha!
DeleteGreat About Me page. Learned so many things about you! My you speak a lot of languages. Very impressive. You'd be so useful to go on vacation with :-) And I have to say, there is definitely a part of me that envies your current lifestyle (sans day job). Don't get me wrong, I love (and need) my job, but if money were no object, I'd be crafting all the live-long day!
ReplyDeleteThose things are so awkward when they're your own! But I love reading other people's "About Me" pages, so it's only fair I play along.
DeleteI do feel pretty fortunate in my current lifestyle. My husband's schedule is extremely demanding, so I deal with everything else to keep the household going. It's not always very mentally stimulating, but it's working for us at this point in our lives.
So glad I am not the only one with the craftsy class-neglect syndrome. I just about finished my first pair of socks today (yay! though I still need to kitchener the heels. boo.) and realised when I read this, I had bought a sock course before xmas that I still haven't watched!! Doh.
ReplyDeleteI knew I wasn't alone - I've read so many people lamenting on it on their blogs!
DeleteHmmm . . . Kitchener. I love Kitchener. I wonder if I should do a video on that?
Oh! Would you? I seem to have a mental block with it. Though I think it might have something to do with the tutorial I had been using, as tried another today, and it actually went quite smoothly. Smoothly for me, anyway.
DeleteWould love to see how you do it.
(with your sweet little voice)
he he he
Will do then! Give me a bit of time to knit something up that needs kitchener-ing!
