Holy Holographics, Batman!

Enchanted Polish Austin Powers, along wth Nfu Oh Aqua Base

I resisted for a long time, but the Aqua Base really does make a big difference, both in the application of the holographic polish and in the amount of holographic effect achieved.  Totally worth the money and trouble of ordering it.

Per Pam's suggestion, I applied one coat of Aqua Base, one coat of holo polish, another coat of Aqua Base and another coat of holo polish, topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.  This was the first time I didn't have to struggle with patchiness when using a holographic polish!  Love!

  2. This makes my heart incredibly happy. I love a good holo. Where did you get your Aqua Base? If it's that great, I'll wait to do another mani with my tiny bottle of HITS No Olimpio until I get some.

    1. I ordered it online from Fabulous Street: http://www.fabuloustreet.com/

I'd say it's worth it, if only because it took my frustration level down to zero. This is the only holo I've tried it with yet, but I've heard that it increases the holo effect with all holo polishes. I'm interested to keep trying it with other holos after my guests leave.

The only downside is that I found it extremely difficult to remove, even with leaving remover-soaked cotton balls on my nails for about 5 minutes. I really had to scrub.

    2. Hmm... Probably still worth it to me if I can get more holo-y holos and not have to worry about stains. Thanks for the info!
