I just finished the cowl to match Hubby's new hat.
I was able to get both the hat and the cowl in size Medium out of one ball of Northampton, but I did have to shorten the cowl by an inch. But it fits him better that way anyhow, so I'm calling it a success!
And now to bed!
I've loved this pattern for a while and would love to make the hat for Kelley. Definitely a success - your husband will love it.
ReplyDeleteYou are one clever lady! I love both the hat and cowl ... be careful: your hubby might become a fashionista!
ReplyDeleteLizz - you should make one for him! It is such a fun pattern to do, and quick payoff!
ReplyDeleteEvelyn - I told him he has to walk runway-style when he goes from one office to the other today! LOL!
For some reason I can't see the photo (!) so I'll wait until you post it on Ravelry.
ReplyDeleteHmmm . . . that's weird. I can see it, and other people saw it. I'm sure I messed it up somehow! I posted it as an add-on to the hat project page on Ravelry.
ReplyDeleteI want one!! You're such a fast knitter-- can't believe you were able to get this done in one day!
ReplyDeleteGail, you are so creative. And a darn good knitter ! ! ! !
ReplyDeletehugs
I really can't take credit for it - all props go to Stephen West! All I added was the determination to get it done!
