Cranberry Cosmo

Here's the other Enchanted Polish holo I got from Harlow and Co. last month:

The holographic effect isn't as "in your face" with this one as it is with Austin Powers, but it's a gorgeous polish nonetheless.  In real life it leans a little more red-violet than what you see here.

I did the same application as last time:  Aqua Base, polish, Aqua Base, polish, Seche Vite.  My bottle of Cranberry Cosmo is a little thick, which made it a bit tricky to apply.  I'll probably thin it a little before using it again.

Sigh.  I love holographic polish . . .

  3. Beautiful!! I just bought Enchanted Polish Austin Powers from a blog sale and I'm pretty excited!

Have you heard the buzz about Essence Peel-Off base coat/PVA glue/Elmer's glue basecoat? Essence launched a non-damaging,peel-off basecoat in Europe, and a blogger realized the ingredients were the same as Elmer's Glue. People have been using it as a basecoat for chunky glitters as it is cheap and easy to remove. I've also read that several have found this also works like Aqua Base for holos! I plan on experimenting...

  4. Very very nice! The only holos I really have are the Catherine Arleys, and I've not had problems with them. But I will keep the Aqua in mind for the future.

    1. I still haven't tried the Aqua Base with my less-holo-y holos to see if it makes a difference. Maybe today . . .
