Sparkly

Since I messed up one of my nails cooking dinner the other night, I decided to fix them all by adding one of my new crackles:

Essie Tart Deco
China Glaze Platinum Pieces

These crackles are so interesting.  Before adding top coat, they don't look very sparkly, but as soon as the top coat is on, boy, do they shine!

I took this picture on Saturday, and took off this mani on Sunday.  Now my nails are NAKED!  *gasp!*

  1. Another cool polish. What's the longest that you leave your nails "naked"?

  2. Well . . . I can't remember a time in my adult life that my toenails were naked. My fingernails haven't been naked since last August. But before that I hadn't worn polish in several years; I was teaching metalsmithing in a studio and had my hands in water constantly, so it just wouldn't stay on.

  3. Metalsmithing? As in jewellery making? Or something more industrial? Either way, sounds super cool. The story of my nails is the opposite of yours. They are constantly naked with some burst of colour at random short intervals.

  4. Jewelry. Industrial REALLY would have killed my nails! Can't have that!
