More knits. Surprised?

These are a couple more repeats of patterns I've made before.  But they're so darned good, and practical, and easy to wear . . .

Another Dolman-Sleeved Top - seriously, if you sew and you haven't downloaded this pattern yet, RUN to your printer and do it now!  This is another soft, stripey cotton from Girl Charlee, same as my orange one only in blue.

And another Foldover Waist Skirt, from the Sewing with Knits class on Craftsy.  The fabric on this one is somewhat more stable than the first one I made!

Of course, no FO post is complete without a collage or two:

Please note how the stripes match at the shoulder!  *pats own back*

And just for kicks, since it's also called a "yoga skirt" - not that I would ever actually do yoga in a skirt - here's me trying to beat the camera timer and get into Trikonasana on a slippery wooden floor!

Didn't quite make it!

    1. I've seen plenty of women running in skirts, but you tend not to go upside down when you're running, LOL!

This striped fabric is SO soft. I really wish it came in more colors. The only color I didn't get was hot pink. I was wishing for yellow!

  2. Gail, you are too funny! Love that you actually tried doing a yoga pose in your yoga skirt. So, despite the wonky waistband I love my Dolman top. I may just have been persuaded to hop on over to Girl Charlee. I'll keep you posted....

    1. I took a photo of me doing Vrksasana too, but the chubby parts of my legs showed, so I left that one out!

I do love my Dolmans. (Dolmen?) I've been on the lookout for fabric to make some more too.

  5. The stripes on the shoulders match? That is serious skill right there. You made most of that outfit and it looks fantastic, how accomplished you must feel.

  6. You're going to motivate me to sew a garment if you keep tempting me like this, Gail.
    You're a talent-and-a-half!

  8. yoga wearing a skirt? strange to say the least... I love how the stripes really emphasizes the dolman sleeve top: I need to go and buy some ink for my printer :)
