Alouette by Sarah Dallas

All done, and I absolutely love it - fit is perfect.  I'll show you on another day when I can be bothered to do my hair and put on a little makeup.  And when light returns to Chicago.

  1. I can't believe how quickly you were able to put that together! I may have to steam-block my next FO-- it's so hard to wait for it to dry!

  2. The stripes made it easy to sew together too, believe it or not!

  3. I'm sure the stripes made it much easier than it otherwise would have been. It is SO fantastic. Love it.

  6. Thanks, girls! I don't know about glamorous - I think my aesthetic is more Land Girl, so this one is perfect for that!

  11. Ahhhh, that makes sense-- you're able to line up the side seams with the stripes! Genius! Honestly, I hate seaming so much that I generally avoid anything but top-down in-the-round projects (seriously, I finished knitting the Aidez cardigan nearly a month ago and haven't been able to force myself to seam it yet!), but this is sooo nice!
