Comparing Lavenders

I've found myself in the position of owning 3 exceedingly similar lavender nail polishes.

The polish collections for this spring seem to be pretty similar, for the most part (Essie, Nubar, Zoya).  Of the brands I like, only China Glaze (my fave) has a spring collection that is a departure from pastel.  But my first lavender polish was from CG's spring collection last year, which was pastel heavy.  I put it on a couple days ago, and really loved it.  I remember last spring feeling kind of 'meh' about it, but right now I'm finding it to be exactly what I want.  But it got me thinking.  Just how similar is it to the two lavenders I bought recently as part of Zoya's and Essie's spring collections?

Well, here's the answer:

L to R:  China Glaze 'Lighter Than Air', Zoya 'Marley', Essie 'Nice is Nice'

'Lighter Than Air' and 'Marley', to my eye, seem to be the same color, the only difference being that 'Marley' has a subtle shimmer.  'Nice is Nice' is ever-so-slightly pinker, the other two leaning more toward grey/blue.

I've got to say, of the 3, I prefer the China Glaze.
